Oracle Integration

Oracle Platinum PartnerEnterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) automatically discovers, strengthens, and grants secure access to all privileged account passwords in the Oracle ecosystem.

Current identity access management frameworks – including Oracle Access Manager and others – do not manage or control privileged accounts. But ERPM can use Oracle 11g Release 2 as a secure back-end database and can manage the privileged accounts within Oracle databases. It also controls and secures the privileged credentials present in Oracle middleware and applications that use services and agents with embedded passwords. Without ERPM, these accounts typically remain in an unmanaged state, leading to potential security breaches and violations of regulatory requirements.

Comprehensive integration between Lieberman Software ERPM and Oracle includes:

  • Oracle Database 11g Release 2: ERPM utilizes the Oracle database as a backend for the secure, encrypted storage of privileged account passwords, with the ability to release these passwords to delegated users on demand. It also automatically discovers all Oracle accounts in the database, and updates and propagates the credentials everywhere they are used. Furthermore, Lieberman Software has an Application Specific Full Use (ASFU) agreement with Oracle and is able to resell Oracle 11g Release 2 with ERPM.
  • Oracle Internet Directory: ERPM automatically discovers and propagates all Oracle directory service passwords.
  • Oracle Identity Manager: ERPM synchronizes password updates with an organization’s existing access rules and user roles.

Extensive Oracle Integrations

ERPM offers more extensive integration with Oracle 11g Release 2 than other privileged identity management products. It leverages the Oracle Diagnostic Pack as well as Oracle's optional Advanced Security, Real Application Clusters and Active Data Guard modules for enhanced security, high availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.

In addition, ERPM manages all privileged account passwords in:

  • Oracle Databases - including Oracle 11g, 10g and 9i editions.
  • Oracle Internet Directory - including OIM, Oracle Applications Manager, and Oracle Internet Directory.
  • Oracle Middleware - including Oracle WebLogic and Oracle Fusion.
  • Oracle Applications - including Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Siebel, JD Edwards, Hyperion and more.
  • Oracle Operating Systems - including Oracle Enterprise Linux and other Oracle-supported Linux platforms.
  • All servers, workstations, network devices, and Web services
